Stephan Marley ft Black Thought (of The Roots) - Thorn or A Rose NEW 2014

Fresh off the press Stephan Marley (Bob Marleys son) gives us a new joint with Black Thought (from the legendary Roots Crew) entitled Thorn or A Rose, Im not too sure if this is going to be on an upcoming album or compilation but one things for sure, these two havent lost a beat.

Prodigy & Alchemist - Dough Pildin NEW 2013

Prodigy (being one half of the legendary Hip Hop group, Mobb Deep) and one of Hip Hop's most recognized producers formally known as Alchemist, hook up for a collaboration album due to hit stores on June 11th. To give their fans a small sample of whats to come, "Dough Pildin" has hit the airwaves, and for any head of Alchemist's signature production, this is a track for you! Also look out for a collaboration album with Evidence (of Dilated Peoples) and Alchemist due out in the 3rd or 4th quarters of 2013.

Common ft Estelle - Victorious NEW 2013

Its always a nice treat to hear new material from M.C.'s like Common. Its been just over a year since he released his latest album The Dreamer - The Believer which had numerous hit tracks including "Blue Sky",  "Ghetto Dreams" (which featured Nas), and "Sweet" (which went out to Drake and other soft (so called M.C.'s). Common's latest new music comes with a feature from the well known Estelle entitled "Victorious". 

Lauryn Hill - Neurotic Society NEW 2013

With the recent legal trouble Lauryn Hill has been going through (in regards to her eviction and tax evasion). Sony Music (her record label) has given L-Boogie notice she must release new music. Now being an avid Lauryn Hill/Fugees fan, I can truthfully say my eyes lit up when I saw the newest released track, entitled "Neurotic Society" as did my ears when I pushed "play".

Also fellow Fugees member Wyclef Jean recently released a new mixtape called "April Showers" which features Mobb Deep, T.I. and Waka Flocka Flame (if you can believe it).

N.O.R.E. (of C-N-N) ft Large Professor - Build Pyramids NEW 2013

N.O.R.E. short for Noreaga of the well known Hip Hop group C-N-N (Capone & Noreaga) hooks up with legendary producer Large Professor for this instant classic which is being released on N.O.R.E.'s upcoming album entitled "Student of the Game". For all the heads out there, check this track!! You will not be disappointed!!

Slum Village - Forever NEW 2013

Slum Village (consisting of T3, Baatin, and the infamous J-Dilla) are a Hip Hop super-group hailing from Detroit, Michigan. With a hand-full of classics including "Tainted", "Fall In Love", "Climax", and "The Reunion" (just to name a few) Slum Village has made quite a name for themselves. J-Dilla formally known as Jay Dee is one of Hip Hop's most recognized producers of all time, having worked with artists like Busta Rhymes, Common, A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul (among others) was known for his funky bass lines and beyond "creative" production abilities. In 2006, J-Dilla passed away from a terminal blood disease. T3 still puts out new music with unreleased Slum Village tracks, this being off their newest album which is due out by this coming summer.

Marco Polo Ft Talib Kweli & DJ Premier - G.U.R.U. (Tribute) NEW 2013

With the unfortunate death anniversary of the unparalleled, late-great, Guru (of legendary Hip Hop group Gang Starr) this past Friday (April 19th 2010). Hip Hop heavyweights Talib Kweli and DJ Premier hook up with a relatively new producer out of New York; Marco Polo for this dedication to truly one of the most influential and best M.C's to ever touch a mic, Gifted, Unlimited, Rhymes, Universal better known as Guru.

De La Soul - Get Away (Wu Tang Clan tribute) NEW 2013

There's no doubt De La Soul (consisting of Posdnuos, Maseo, and Dave Jolicoeur) left an unprecedented legacy in Golden Age Hip Hop. Dwelling from Long Island, New York, De La has an extensive catalog of classics including the famous "3 is the Magic Number", "Buddy" (which features fellow Native Tongues members A Tribe Called Quest) and "Stakes Is High", to their more recent classics like "Church", "Verbal Clap" and "Rock.Cocaine.Flow" off of their more recent 2004 album "The Grind Date". With the reuniting of the infamous Wu Tang Clan at this years Coachella Music Festival this past week, De La dropped this new track which payes homage to the Wu.

R.A. The Rugged Man Ft Talib Kweli - Learn Truth NEW 2013

As fans from the Golden Era of Hip Hop continue to wait for the release of R.A. The Rugged Man's upcoming album (entitled Legends Never Die). R.A. gives us an early treat, with the single called "Learn Truth", featuring Talib Kweli.

Being an avid 90's Hip Hop listener, artists like Talib and R.A. really stand out when researching new music, I mean who could forget the release of the infamous Blackstarr album from Talib Kweli Mos Def or the Reflection Eternal duo of Talib and DJ Hi-Tek who put out the highly acclaimed "Train of Thought".. Both being widely recognized classics.

Rihanna ft T.I., Rick Ross, Juicy J and Young Jeezy - Pour It Up (Remix) NEW 2013

Well as you can see I dont really post much music from any of these artists, as I just dont really listen to too much that is "commercial-esk" (being Rihanna, T.I., Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and Juicy J (formally of Three 6 Mafia) but after listening to this new remix of Pour It Up, I'm actually really feeling this track. Hit-Boy ft Method Man, Redman, Xzibit, Raekwon and more - Cypher (Hits Since 87' Inc) NEW 2013

Well for how gloomy and rainy it was this Monday morning in London (Ontario), the day got alot better as I came upon this new track with an all-star line up including brand new verses from Hip Hop veterans, Method Man, Red Man, Raekwon and Xzibit which all came out spitting with their usual velocity. Im not going to lie, I havent gotten into much of the other artists being Audio Push, School Boy Q, or Casey Veggies, although this track surely demonstrates they all have some serious potential. Great track.

Yelawolf - F.A.S.T. Ride NEW 2013

With Yelawolf's highly anticipated release of "Trunk Muzik Returns" right around the corner (March 14th), Yela treats his fans to a trunk-rattling, funk-induced new track entitled "F.A.S.T. Ride".

Sadat X ft Masta Ace - Plan of Attack NEW 2013

Sadat X (one half of legendary Hip Hop group, Brand Nubian) is well known in the music industry for classics such as "All For One", "Nubian Jam", "Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down", "Slow Down" and "Alladat" (which features Busta Rhymes). Sadat's latest album entitled "Love Hell & Right" is full of ear-catching samples as well as contributions from artists like Pharoahe Monch, Masta Ace (posted track) Smif N Wessun, Dres (of Black Sheep) and Jarobi (of A Tribe Called Quest). In this track, Sadat hooks up with Masta Ace for "Plan of Attack".
